This year we are launching our ‘Women Champions for Change’ programme, putting particular emphasis on promoting and supporting women in business. Through series of interviews and talks, we will share some inspiring stories such as the incredible startup Mazi Mas, which teaches women from migrant and refugee communities life skills to gain employment. Mazi Mas currently employs six female chefs with roots from Iran to Ethiopia, creating and selling authentic, affordable, and carefully sourced home cooking via pop up restaurants across London – literally changing women’s lives with their own food! This initiative has helped numerous unemployed women showcase and capitalise on their culinary skills while providing them with the skills to set up their own businesses.
