We support, work with and inspire us

London School of Economics and Political Science | We helped build and continue to promote the innovative incubator and new social entrepreneurship centre, LSE Generate, which helps students and alumni build socially responsible businesses. ED helped develop the Generate One Year All-Round Programme packed with classes, events, and networking opportunities. We also delivered over 80 hours of entrepreneurship training through our Enterprise Academy, acting as an umbrella organisation to the LSE Generate team, and now help develop and deliver modules in marketing, finance, product development, leadership and teambuilding to students and alumni.

European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights | ED co-organised a workshop day for a Traineeship Programme attended by 300 stagiaires. We delivered talks and panel discussions, as well as start-up business coaching, with 12 MBA start-up student teams supporting the promotion of human rights. The coaching included project management, entrepreneurial finance and strategic growth.

Open Bionics | An innovative health tech start-up, Open Bionics uses artificial intelligence, robotics and virtual reality tools to develop ground-breaking, yet affordable and open-source, 3D printed bionic hands for amputees. ED delivered 120+ hours of start-up business consulting to the team, which started with 2 members and has now grown to over 20!

Advantage Austria Commercial Section of the Austrian Embassy | The team provided support for various start-up soft-landing programmes, titled Start-up Catapult London, as well as start-up business consulting for 20+ Austrian start-ups looking to relocate to London. We also co-organise an annual funding competition day, followed by a networking event in the Austrian Embassy, London.

European Union Committee of the Regions | This committee encourages European entrepreneurship at local and regional level. ED developed an online webinar for EU grant beneficiaries to build grant application capacities for European start-ups, as part of a webinar series called Identifying your Competitive Advantage. We also helped organise panel discussion events debating how to internationalise local start-ups and enhance their global footprint by providing them with global soft-landing programmes and international partner support.

Kids Hack | ED co-organised Kids Hack’s first local event in London, attended by 50+ students. Kids Hack is a global series of creative tech events for students, encouraging creativity and innovation through rotating stations of building, up cycling and coding electronic components, with many challenges involved. Together with the Kids Hack team, ED also helped develop a funding action plan and successfully found more investment.
